Nice article. I hope that Galchenyuk gets the opportunity to play C again and proves to everyone that is where he belongs...however I think Bergevin's ultimate goal is to trade him. I do not agree with that approach but I think that is what will happen and unless the return is a proven C then the fans will freak...not that it will matter

IMO...Galchenyuk will only get traded if he doesn't stop partying and stays away from doing coke. Time to grow up for the kid

I feel Drouin should play with Pacioretty. Gallagher needs to bounce back big time if he wants some ice time. Cause right now, Drouin is a way better option than him and I would say Byron as well.

But Galchenyuk/Drouin could be fun to watch.

habs are the only team in the league with 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d centers....without having a good center on the top 2 lines.

totally agree. Patch needs a playmaker, Danault and Gallagher are not.

I think it's the plan anyway. We should see Patch and Drouin as much as we have seen Patch and Radu last season.

Meh. They won't miss the playoffs because they play their two best players together.

Upfront they are as good as last year in my opinion, if not better. I'm not sure about the defense. They miss a good puck moving defenseman.Unless maybe Jerabeck end up being a top 4 defenseman.

they will miss the playoffs because they are weaker on defense and offense.

I think Drouin is better than Radulov. It will be hard for Gallagher to suck more than last season. Lekhonen could improve as well. So disagree upfront. Agree with the defense. They will miss Markov on the pp and to get the puck from defense to offense. Unless, once again, Jerabeck end up being pretty good.

Bruce Gayrrioch was on the radio saying that Chris Neil to the Habs is imminent, he's just waiting on if he wants to move his kids or if Ottawa will throw him a bone.

If the Habs did somehow get Neil, that Bergevin gif needs to be posted all day.

It is possible that Drouin could quarterback the PP unit. That leaves a first wave of shooters including Galchenyuk and Pacioretty up front. Danault for faceoffs and hustle down low. Drouin Weber on the point.

That is what I would run with to start camp
